We were delighted to hear of East India Youth’s Mercury nomination last night, and luckily have a chance to see him live coming up. That happens on November 13th (two weeks after the winner is announced) at Heaven.

Here’s an ace new video for Max Jury’s Black Metal. The song itself is beautiful and stately, the vid follows a pair of almost-Juggalos wandering around and eating. Watch it above…

We announced the amazing Courtney Barnett as support for Metronomy this week and yesterday a video of her performing The Breeders classic Cannonball for AV Club went online too. It’s a great take on the song, and you can watch it here.

Tickets for the Metronomy show can be grabbed here.

Here’s a new record we’ve been anticipating for some time, Simian Mobile Disco’s desert recorded new album Whorl. Today you can listen to the whole record via The New York Times.

Tickets to see the band on the week of release at Union Chapel can be gotten here.

We’ve made a new playlist on Spotify to house all shows we’re promoting in London and beyond. You can follow and we’ll be adding tunes by acts just as soon as they confirm shows with us, so you’ll find out exactly what’s going on and maybe discover some great music along the way too…

Take a listen above to the mammoth list that takes us through Autumn, Winter and all the way to Caribou next March.
