World Restart feat. Kelela & Ade is the opening track from the brand new Kindness album, which is out next week through Female Energy. The album features appearances from Dev Hynes and Robyn amongst others and we’ve had this on loop since we got it here in the office. We can’t see that changing much before the headline show at the Electric Brixton in January.

Tickets for the show are on sale via Songkick now - BUY HERE

Here’s a snapshot at what we have coming up via a handy bit of artwork above…

Details for all these shows and more can be found here.

Here’s a great new video from Jagaara for Heartbeats ahead of another show with them at The Waiting Room. Have a look above.

September is drawing to a close but we’ve got a busy week and a half of shows ahead still. We kick off tonight with Woman’s Hour at Village Underground (supported by Farao) for what should be a great showcase of their wonderful debut record Conversations. Then over the next few days we have Femme for a free show at Birthdays, Hauschka and Luke Abbott filling the beautiful Union Chapel, James Yorkston and a star-studded supporting cast (KT Tunstall, Alexis Hot Chip and more), Jagaara and legends Blonde Redhead.

The Horrors are back playing in London for us very soon - they will be at The Troxy on the 4th of October, which should be very special indeed. They head off on tour this weekend.

Grab tickets to the London date here.

Tickets for Neneh Cherry and Rocketnumbernine at Electric Ballroom on January 28th go onsale tomorrow morning!

Warm up to that with a great clip of her playing classic Buffalo Stance at Field Day London

Here’s a brilliant remix of James Yorkston from Luke Abbott, which is up exclusively on Clash Magazine here.

By a cruel twist of fate Luke Abbott plays for us (supporting Hauschka) on the very same night (25th September) as James Yorkston plays a special Dingwalls show with assorted other musicians.

Details for both shows can be found here.

Our date with the brilliant womanshour is quickly approaching and we’re getting very excited indeed.

Ogle the poster above, of their excellent album artwork (the shapes also appear in their live show) and then grab tickets for the show here: https://tickets.songkick.com/events/20077958

Here’s a great cap to the weekend with Clean Bandit playing their smash hit Rather Be with Jess Glynne and the BBC philharmonic orchestra for Radio One this week…
