The new Woman’s Hour record is among the best debut records we’ve heard this year (SOHN and East India Youth both springing to mind too) and you can hear it in full on the New York Times here.

They play at London’s Village Underground for us in September too and you can grab tickets before they sell out here.

Here’s a brilliant new tune from Duologue from a forthcoming new record called Never Get Lost.

We announced a show for the band at Oslo in Hackney this morning too.

Details and tickets for that can be found here.

Delighted to have Metronomy back in London 5th December. They play at the amazing Alexandra Palace!

We’re very happy to have a special show lined up with James Yorkston in September. He’ll be joined by Alexis of Hot Chip, KT Tunstall, Pictish Trail, Jon Thorne and Emma Smith. Plus the ace Fimber Bravo in support.

We had Sleigh Bells at Village Underground last night and as ever they were a revelation. Photographer Carolina Faruolo grabbed some snaps for us, have a look above and below.

The debut single from Simian Mobile Disco’s upcoming record Whorl hit the internet yesterday and sounding very nice indeed. Have a listen to the shimmering techno brilliance of Tangents above.

We’re getting very excited for the new Simian Mobile Disco record Whorl after seeing them play at this year’s Field Day festival and now there’s a great short film clip explaining how the record came to life in the California desert. Have a look above and grab tickets to their Union Chapel show which happens on the day the record comes out…

Glastonbury happened this past weekend and there were a lot of Eat Your Own Ears regulars and favourites playing across the weekend. We’ve got London shows coming up for some acts, so have a watch of the likes of Clean Bandit, The Horrors, Tune-Yards, Metronomy, Anna Calvi and Jagwar Ma above and below and then grab tickets to shows…

Vans have teamed up with Simian Mobile Disco as they headed to Pioneer Town and Joshua Tree to make their new record Whorl. The story of how it’s made is fascinating and well worth a watch above.

Mark Kozelek has a new live record out in a few days called Live at Biko. It was recorded at a solo show in Italy in April of this year and is a great listen, covering lots of recent Sun Kil Moon ground and more assorted goodness.

Kozelek is back in London for a special show at the beautiful St James Piccadilly church. That happens on August 28th, snap up tickets here.
