Another exclusive from REVERE and an barnstorming performance video of the band playing ‘These Halcyon Days’. For our money one of the best live bands in the UK right now, they play for us on April 4th and the excitement is mounting for us.

As promised… Here is the new Niki and the Dove video for their fantastic new single ‘Tomorrow’.

Over the coming few days we’ll be giving away a whole load of tickets to some of the most exciting shows on the EYOE horizon. These include:

Mouse on Mars
Of Montreal
Grimes (XOYO)
Perfume Genius
Shabazz Palaces
Mystery Jets
The Horrors

So stay tuned to our twitter @eatyourownears with your finger on the RT button for a chance at some free shows.

Niki and the Dove’s new video drops tomorrow. We’ve feverish with excitement - especially after announcing a new show for them in May. For now, you can hear the song in radio rip form, from Annie Mac’s show recently. It’s a real winner.

Love this song. Here’s a quietly evocative new video from Arthur Beatrice too.

Wildswim - Shacklewell Arms - Monday

Tanlines - Cargo - Tuesday

Some of you might remember an Of Montreal demo called ‘Feminine Effects’ from around the time of Hissing Fauna. Kevin Barnes has returned to it and finished it off - giving it a woozy Beatles-esque lilt. It’s one of the best things he’s done for ages and we will definitely picking up the limited Record Store Day 7”.

The brilliant Martin Creed takes us through his anthem for living “Thinking/Not Thinking” in this Guardian session. The performance is well worth sticking around for. He puts similar thought mechanisms into making songs as his does to his artwork and that makes him a truly singular musician too.

James Yorkston’s tour diaries are a thing of wonder and something we have read cover to cover a couple of times now. Nothing beats the man himself reading, though, which you can experience above. He plays for us again this Spring and we can’t wait.
