Seams, the Berlin by way of Hampshire based producer has been releasing demos and snippets of tracks over on soundcloud for years now. His ambient beats gently transformed into 8 fully formed songs that occupy his latest release, a double EP on Full Time Hobby - you can stream the entire set on soundcloud

Seams returned to London this past weekend, blowing up Corsica Studios with a jaw dropping performance. To add icing to that cake we’ll be putting on a free headlining show with Seams later this year at The Waiting Room. Download your free ticket here while you can!

After gracing the news for his olympic bell ringing, Martin Creed is finally giving his latest release Love to You a proper send off. Tomorrow at the Dalston Victoria, Creed will be preforming alongside his band, delivering songs that range from scathing punk to heartfelt ballads - a range that only an artist as talented as Creed could pull off.

Now go ahead and watch this session from the Guardian for a less bell filled taste of what’s in store.

A handful of tickets are left - find them here while you can!

In the few months they’ve been doing shows, the garage slinging four piece Palma Violets have deservedly built a mammoth wave of hype. We hope you’re ready to have this tsunami come crashing down over you because these Lambeth lads will be proving their worth at the 233 studio on August 9th. The show is to raise funds to help save Studio 180 - the basement that’s hosted and endless stream of talent. Take a peep at both Palma Violets and Studio 180 with this session filmed there earlier this month.

Tickets for the show at 223 can be found here.

What’s that? Sorry we’re having trouble hearing after London shook from three minutes of relentless bell ringing this morning! Martin Creed’s latest art project - appropriately named Work No 1197: All the bells in a country rung as quickly and loudly as possible for three minutes managed to break the world record for most bells in a country being rung at once. Big Ben even managed to join in the fun, skipping from his strict schedule for the first time since 1952! Once again we’ve proven to the world how competent the British are at ringing things (Jeremy Hunt excluded).

Some choice clips of the festivities are below! Now pat yourself on the back while you can - when it comes to shaking a metal thing with another metal thing inside, Britain’s got the gold. Let’s see you try and pull that off Usain Bolt!

Martin Creed’s potentially record breaking show with us is this coming Wednesday, tickets can be found here.

Andrew Bird’s Break It Yourself is one of our 2012 faves so it’s only fitting that he’s gone ahead and put out our new favorite music video. A children’s birthday party gets a surprise when a living piñata comes out to join - but in a cute and not totally terrifying way. Watch the little film below!

We’re hosting a night with the stringed maestro at the Camden Roundhouse this November. Tickets can be found here.

We’ve been going no about Martin Creed’s brilliant bell ringing festivities all week, now it’s about time we let the man speak for himself. He stopped into Marc Riley’s show to explain tomorrows ringing of the bells as well as play some choice hits. Listen here!

If you’re looking for a cure to the weekday heat, we’re offering smooth grooves of Rocketnumbernine to turn your burning temperatures into burning desire. Come to the Waiting Room tonight for a free set from Rocketnumbernine followed by spins from Four Tet - check below for a taste of both.

Online tickets are gone and space is very limited but with any luck you’ll get to break down into that groovy summer sweat.
