Ultima II Massage, the latest full-length from Tom Fec’s Tobacco project, finds the Black Moth Super Rainbow frontman moving from the gently corroded Technicolor psych-prog of 2010’s Maniac Meat to a full-on barrage of wobbling, low-end-heavy bizarro pop. Fec’s work as Tobacco is frequently approached as a dichotomy of beauty and ugliness; on Ultima’s front half, the “ugly” quotient has been ramped up to match the project’s warped, grotty imagery.

As they release their brand new album Whorl, the internationally acclaimed duo will play 12 consecutive Saturdays across October, November and December bringing along an impressive roster of supporting guests to close XOYO’s inaugural year of the residency series. Saturday 1st November see’s Simian perform their new album Whorl in its entirety. They will be backed up by hot New York house producer Galcher Lustwerk and the man of many aliases, Gerd. We go big in Room 2 this week alongside Stamp the Wax, as we welcome Dutch underground favourite San Proper, who is known for his notoriously eccentric approach to DJing.

Eyedress is 23 year old Idris Vicuna. He is based in Quezon City, Manilla, in the Philippines. His debut ‘Supernatural’ EP was recorded on fruity loops in Eyedress’ bedroom on a PC laptop handed down to him by his father.
Eyedress has previously supported Grimes and How To Dress Well. Eyedress’ beats recently appeared on the L3IF mixtape and the new mix from London’s renowned DJ Oneman.
Following their recent sold-out UK headline tour, Clean Bandit are very pleased to announce details of more UK headline shows, which will take place throughout October and November. The autumn tour, which will include a date at London’s Brixton Academy, kicks off at Newcastle’s O2 Academy on October 12, taking in Leeds, Liverpool, Manchester, Sheffield, Norwich, Nottingham, Birmingham, Bristol, Cardiff, Exeter, Bexhill and London, before finishing up in Belfast on November 1. Tickets go on general sale on Friday 16 May from 9am.
