We are thrilled to announce that the brilliant SBTRKT will be playing a show at O2 Academy Brixton on Thursday 2nd October.

Yesterday, SBTRKT announced details of his much-anticipated second album. The London-based producer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist will release ‘Wonder Where We Land’ on September 22nd on Young Turks.

‘Wonder Where We Land’ follows his critically acclaimed eponymous debut album and a recent interim release of six instrumentals called ‘Transitions’, which joined the creative dots between the first and second albums.

Since the release of his debut album in 2011, SBTRKT has cemented his role as one of the most acclaimed electronic artists and performers around. What began as praise in his hometown of London has now reached to every corner of the globe.

We are thrilled to announce that Jagaara will be playing two free shows at the Waiting Room this autumn.

Jagaara are sisters Jane (Vocal’s/Guitar), Cat (Keys/Synth) and Ruth (Guitar) who grew up in North London listening to everything from Radiohead & Led Zeppelin through to Kate Bush and more recently artists such as Blood Orange, Bon Iver, and Lykke Li. They started both singing and playing from a young age that culminated in them writing songs together from their late-teens.

James Yorkston, an artist not unfamiliar with the notion of collaboration, has opened the studio doors to a broad and brilliant selection of players on this his eighth studio album.

Produced by Hot Chip’s Alexis Taylor in London’s Livingston studio, it features KT Tunstall, The Pictish Trail, Rob Smoughton, Fimber Bravo, and his long-term collaborators Jon Thorne and Emma Smith. The Cellardyke Recording And Wassailing Society’ finds James at his most personal and reflective following 2012’s I Was A Cat From A Book.

What James and his collection of fine musicians have created is an album that connects the intimacy of his home-town life with the camaraderie of good friends. CRAWS flows with acceptance and relief, and is James’ fullest body of work.

This special London show will see James joined onstage by many of his collaborators: Alexis Taylor, KT Tunstall, Pictich Trail, Jon Thorne and Emma Smith.

Plus support comes from Fimber Bravo (who will also join James for a few songs).
