Atlas Sound – Walkabout

We like Bradford Cox in any of his guises, be that lead singer of Deerhunter, experimental popped in Atlas Sound or crowd-baiter with his recent, epic take on My Sharona.

One of our favourite Cox moments in particular is his sample heavy juicing in ‘Walkabout’ featuring Animal Collective’s Noah Lennox A.K.A. Panda Bear. Refresh the memory above!

Fresh from their rousing slot at Field Day we have announced another show for Here We Go Magic. Their recent record ‘A Different Ship’ is a big favourite of the year so far for us (we’re almost exactly halfway!) and this small show at Dingwalls is going to be unmissable.



Sunless 97 + Palmistry

Tomorrow night sees a very exciting free one at Shacklewell Arms. We welcome Sunless ‘97 back who play with Palmistry on the support bill. Both artists seem to share a little common ground, tapping into a rich vein of homespun R&B sounds and deft electronics. It’s pop music but in a darker, more leftfield disguise.
