New Mixtape from Peaking Lights

It may have felt like years since we’ve seen sun in London but these past days have been absolute perfection. Nothing goes quite as well as beautiful weather and a brand new Peaking Lights mixtape so why not listen along with us and forget the rainy springtime was ever here.

Be sure to catch Peaking Lights and Julia Holter reign in summer at XOYO next week!

This Week’s Gigs

We have a relaxing week’s worth of gigs to close off the end of May – so why not take advantage of the warmer nights and head out with us to enjoy some of the best music we can muster. Check for the schedule below…

Walls + Blue Daisy – Monday – Hoxton Bar and Grill

One of our favorite London acts Walls are continuing on their headlining stint around the UK with what’s sure to be a show-stopping performance. With equally hyped and talented Blue Daisy working the support slot this show is a true must-see.

Niki & the Dove – Monday – XOYO

Niki’s Malin may have been struck down with sickness which lead to a postponement earlier this month – but the powerhouse duo are back to shake us down with a showcase of their Swedish talent. A limited number of tickets are still available here. We suggest you get them while you can!

James Yorkston and the Athletes – Tuesday – Cecil Sharp House

Celebrating the 10th anniversary re-release of his seminal album Moving Up Country, James Yorkston and his band The Athletes will be preforming the record in its entirety. The chance to hear such an iconic album live is a rare gift we couldn’t be more thrilled about.

Field Day Pre-Show: Julia Holter + Guests – Friday – Cafe OTO

Critical darling and unbelievable talent Julia Holter makes her first of three London performances this week. With her hotly tipped second record Ekstasis still simmering on our turntables, we’ll be sure to catch Julia Holter every chance we can get. If you didn’t nab tickets for the pre-show in time – a dwindling few are still available for both Field Day and her supporting performance with Peaking Lights.
