Field Day Radio – Episode One

Tom Baker, one of the main founders of Field Day, presents Field Day Radio, broadcasting monthly in the lead up to the Field Day festival on Saturday 2nd June 2012. Field Day Radio will showcase the best music, exclusive interviews, mixes and live recordings from artists playing at the Field Day festival in Victoria Park, London. Now in it’s sixth year, Field Day has built up a reputation for bringing the most bold, innovative and imaginative artists and promoters together for one day in a leafy park in East London.

Field Day Radio is produced by Folded Wing, a forward-thinking radio production company and market leaders in the innovative use of radio and online broadcasting. Folded Wing produce and syndicate world-renowned radio shows and award-winning podcasts and are responsible for producing regular shows for BBC Radio 2, Radio 1 and 1Xtra, the British Council and Red Bull Music Academy Radio.

Field Day Radio launches tomorrow morning – keep an eye on their radio page. If you head over there now you can listen to a couple of teaser clips from the show featuring Metronomy and Tim Burgess (Pictured, with Field Day’s very own Tom Baker, who also hosts).

Eat Your Own Ears headin’ to Texas
