‘Violet Cries’ is fast approaching now and here’s a new video for one of our favourite Esben and the Witch tracks ‘Warpath’. And this is one scary little clip.

Incase you haven’t noticed we are huge fans of Anna Calvi and her debut album that came out this week. If you haven’t quite overplayed it this week then check out Calvi doing another version of ‘Desire’ in session here (helps if you speak French, but we worked it out)

Described by The Guardian as somewhere between Steve Reich and The Ramones, we are very excited about hosting the multi-talented Martin Creed at Cafe Oto. Turner-Prize winning Creed is normally known for his art but his music is making the same leaps – one piece composed for bells has been commissioned for the 2012 Olympics. In short, this will be one well-worth seeing.
Glitch-Hopper Prefuse 73 has remixed Junip’s new single ‘Always’. You can check the neat piece of work over at Pitchfork:

Here is a new video from Oxford’s Trophy Wife. The band put on a quite brilliant live show, and they play with Esben and the Witch as well as their own headline show in March. This song is full of sweet melodies and rhythms that ought to move you.
