We have the brilliant Broken Records playing in support of Freelance Whales at the end of this month and their new record about to be released by the legendary 4AD label is streaming right now RIGHT HERE.

It’s been nice to see a raft of big hitters putting their weight behind Esben and the Witch for this year – including BBC Sound of 2011. The album ‘Violet Cries’ is out very soon and is by all accounts quite something. It should go someway towards filling their big potential and we can’t wait to see the band just over a week after the album drops. It’s always a favourite time to see a band (especially with a debut album). There’s a hunger and passion in live shows around album releases that generates real excitement.

Yours Truly have the market cornered for amazing live footage of the best upcoming bands. It’s little suprise but pleasant none-the-less to see this Twin Shadow live bit. You can see something very special indeed about George Lewis Jr. he has the kind of magnetism that you can’t teach.
