Erland And The Carnival

Green Man Sessions 005 // Erland & The Carnival – Everything Came Too Easy from Green Man on Vimeo.

Lovely clip of one of the UK’s leading lights right now. 2010 has been huge for Simon Tong (formerly of The Verve) and cohorts and an even bigger 2011 is in the offing. The band seem to get better each time we see them, so it’s no suprise that we have worked ourselves into a proper bit of a excitement about seeing them on the 29th of November.

Esben and the Witch

This picture of Esben and the Witch captures the band perfectly. We can’t wait for the debut album to finally drop. The band shared new song ‘Warpath’ last week and it’s huge, with the kind of edge to it that makes the band sound dangerous. It’s rare these days you can use that adjective to describe a band, but listening to ‘Warpath’ or seeing the band live you get the impression that they could go anywhere, or do anything, and take you right along with them.
