Errors remixed by Gold Panda

Errors – A Rumour In Africa (Gold Panda Remix) by drownedinsound

Check out this storming remix of Errors by Gold Panda. We’ve been playing Errors non-stop in preparation for their show on Thursday so this remix has just given us a whole new lease of life with this song. Gold Panda keeps up his impressive hit-rate with this, and sitting here trying to think of a less-than-good tune that our boy from Chelmsford has done and well, we can’t think of a single one.

A Message From Erland and The Carnival

Erland and the Carnival have been in touch with the below news:

"Our planned show at London’s Cecil Sharp House on Sunday 26th
September has had to be postponed, due to circumstances outside our
control, and will now be taking place at London's newest live music
venue, XOYO, on Monday 29th November.  This will be our final UK show
of the year.

We are putting on a night which we have 'subtly' curated ourselves to
explore the idea of British folk music in 2010, including some bizarre
curiosities on the night, including a Magical, Mechanical Mouse
Orglock and a sonic art installation with British providence.

Joining us on the night will be the quite wonderful Alessi’s Ark
(www.myspace.com/alessisark), whose distinctive voice has a twangy
flutter, infused with a dusty, jazz-folk antiquity and other
worldliness. She caught our attention at Tan Hill festival this year,
putting tingles up our spines!

We will also be previewing some of our new songs at this show, not to be missed!"

Tickets are £8.50 in advance, available from:

Glasser Pictures

We’re swooning over these lovely Glasser pictures. Really nice original photography and compliments her brand of swirling textured pop very nicely.

Of Montreal Interview

Of Montreal hit KOKO in Camden tommorow and we are all terribly excited about stage props, make-up, concepts, guests…oh and songs. So it’s nice that NME have interviewed the band in this video and talk about videos, the new album and live show. It’s going to be a very good one isn’t it.
