Matthew Dear – Little People (Black City) – Mark E Remix

MDBC Abstraction from Ghostly International on Vimeo.

As you should know by now, the new Matthew Dear album is incredible. One of the best of the year with its ear melting bass and pitched vocals. Stand out track ‘Little People (Black City)’ has been given the Mark E treatment and his remix is rude with hugeness, embracing the vocals with all manner of good sounds.

Check out this little teaser clip with its equally pleasing Alex Mac body-dissolves.

James Yorkston

It’s become Tour Tuesday on the blog today. Check out this amazingly beautiful tour documentary of James Yorkston and a couple of others on tour in Ireland. It’s graceful and blurry portrait of Ireland and music is charming and haunting in equal measure.

We’re really quite excited to announce the return of James Yorkston for his traditional Christmas show with us. It happens at the Luminaire and tickets are already selling fast for this one so book this treat early and don’t miss out!

Jamie Lidell

Really nice tour video from Jamie Lidell featuring ‘Telephone’ and some great dance moves. One of the best live acts going at the moment, so check this trailer out and come and see him in the Autumn.
