Glasser

Here is an odd video for ‘Home’ from Glassers eagerly awaited debut album Ring, which is out at the end of this month. The video mutates and shifts in perspective gradually and oddly mirrors Glassers woozy pop music. The music is fairly inward but in the moments when she opens up her voice it expands the whole song into a world of bright colours and texture.

It all makes us very excited for the album and for the show that we have just announced for the 11th of October.

The XX

Congratulations to Eat Your Own Ears favourites and regulars The XX who won the Mercury Music Prize last night. It’s been exciting to watch this band’s meteoric rise to the top of the pile, and their award is completely deserved and refreshing to see it go to a young London band who have taken time to develop and work hard. They have come a long way since this:

Congratulations to The xx
