We’re getting very excited for the new Simian Mobile Disco record Whorl after seeing them play at this year’s Field Day festival and now there’s a great short film clip explaining how the record came to life in the California desert. Have a look above and grab tickets to their Union Chapel show which happens on the day the record comes out…
Glastonbury happened this past weekend and there were a lot of Eat Your Own Ears regulars and favourites playing across the weekend. We’ve got London shows coming up for some acts, so have a watch of the likes of Clean Bandit, The Horrors, Tune-Yards, Metronomy, Anna Calvi and Jagwar Ma above and below and then grab tickets to shows…

Vans have teamed up with Simian Mobile Disco as they headed to Pioneer Town and Joshua Tree to make their new record Whorl. The story of how it’s made is fascinating and well worth a watch above.
Mark Kozelek has a new live record out in a few days called Live at Biko. It was recorded at a solo show in Italy in April of this year and is a great listen, covering lots of recent Sun Kil Moon ground and more assorted goodness.
Kozelek is back in London for a special show at the beautiful St James Piccadilly church. That happens on August 28th, snap up tickets here.
Here’s a great live clip of Teen who we have playing for us in July. The band’s new record The Way and Color is up there with the best of them for 2014 and we’re excited to hear it in the flesh. For now stream a session take for Insound above and watch a video of it here too.
