R Stevie Moore introduces his Cargo show

We have legend R Stevie Moore playing for us at Cargo on the 2nd of May. Watch a special video he made for us above as he introduces the show and gets the excitement going.

LA band Hands are coming over for free show at The Shacklewell on May 2nd. We’re excited to see them in the flesh, especially based on the quality of this live take on their song ‘Magic Fingers’ (watch, above). Their record Synesthesia is out on the 30th of April on Kill Rock Stars and you can watch a great video behind the scenes of that release here.

We’ve got the excellent Adam Green & Binki Shapiro in town tonight and just stumbled on this nice session from Fake DIY. The duo play The Nighttime Stopped Bleeding from their self-titled record and it sounds very nice indeed.

Here’s a stunning take on To Here Knows When from Rachel Zeffira, live at Abbey Road. Zeffira really excels over the backdrop of strings and woodwind. She performs for us tomorrow at Union Chapel and we’re very excited indeed.
