WED 7TH NOVEMBER
KINDNESS
Kindness kicks off a busy week in London for us. Adam Bainbridge and co boast one of the most fun shows we’ve seen for years and he’s got a lot to celebrate this time. His debut record is in firm reckoning for the year’s best.
THU 8TH NOVEMBER
CLOCK OPERA
Clock Opera are another band who released a triumphant debut record this year. We’ve been on their trail since the start and it’s been great to watch Clock Opera blossom this year into the band they had promised to be. Very exciting last London show for a while.

ANDREW BIRD
Andrew Bird just released his second record for the year Hands of Glory. It’s a big treat full of great renditions and a couple of new bits in there too. He’s blown us away once already earlier in the year. We wouldn’t bet on him doing it again this week.
FRI 9TH NOVEMBER
MARK KOZELEK – SOLD OUT
Mark Kozelek is in town for a rare appearence. On this first night he hits Union Chapel, before playing at the tiny St Giles Church on Saturday night. Both shows will be very special indeed.

DARKSTAR
Darkstar have just announced a second record News from Nowhere. We’re still enamoured with North and looking forward to hearing highlights from that as well as a taster for whats to come. Patten supports and is well worth catching.
SAT 10TH NOVEMBER
SPECTOR
This year’s Kings of pop hit the hallowed boards of Shepherd’s Bush Empire to round off a hugely exciting tour. They play with up-and-comers LULS, Splashh and Swim Deep.

LOTUS PLAZA
A rare solo London outing for Deerhunter man Lockett Pundt. He’s the man who wrote some of our favourite tunes in that band – Desire Lines, Nothing Ever Happened – and his debut record from this year is brilliant too.
