London based five piece, The History Of Apple Pie are set to host a special free party to coincide with the release of their eagerly awaited debut long player Out Of View.

The event will take place on Friday the 25th of January at 8pm and will give fans an exclusive opportunity to listen to the album in it’s entirety for the very first time prior to it’s release on Marshall Teller Records on the 28th of January 2013.There will also be a limited run of signed copies available on the night and a chance to taste specially made nutmeg, cinnamon and sultana apple pies.

The album, recorded in London over the last few months, was self produced by guitarist Jerome Watson, mixed by Charles Chicky Reeves and engineered by Joshua Third of The Horrors. The History Of Apple Pie will follow the release of the long player with a new single See You which is released on the 18th of February 2013.

To coincide with the single release, the band line up of Stephanie Min (Vocals), Jerome Watson (Guitar), Kelly Owens (Bass), James Thomas (Drums) and Aslam Ghauri (Guitar) will set off on their first UK tour for over a year. The dates kick off in York on the 31st of January and finish up with a London show at The Old Blue Last on the 19th of February.

Prior to the tour, the band will play a special in-store show at Rough Trade East in London on the day of the album release on Monday the 28th of January 2013.
